Ok. Well that does suck and I have a few other choice words which really aren't appropriate to type on a work computer - come to think of it, posting comments on blogs probably isn's appropriate either - :oO. But on the positive side you now have clarity. Sometimes it's better to just know, rather than be left hanging and hoping. I think your idea of bringing some joy to her life anyway through letters and gifts is a good one, just be careful that it's not too difficult on you. Ok - deep breath - close your eyes - imagine some spa music - reach in for that inner strength I know you have - and start putting plan B into place.
